The Ten Commandments
1. Thou shalt not quibble and quarrel. No insults, hate speech, bigotry, passive aggressive or inflammatory comments that are intended to provoke and/or harm other users. Civil discourse is otherwise permitted and encouraged.
2. Thou shalt not be vulgar. Be considerate of younger users. Sex jokes, playful innuendo and erotica (written tastefully) are permitted so long as they do not paint an unnecessarily vulgar picture and/or explicitly target another person. This is not the place for cybersex or sailor talk. (Rules of Erotic Fiction: Click Here)
3. Thou shalt not spam. Please post with self-restraint and regard for your fellow users whose content deserves no less thought and attention. Do not spam threads or personal inboxes. Please use the post edit feature to avoid repetitive posting.
4. Thou shalt not plagiarize. Plagiarizing someone's work is a callous disregard of them, as a person, and their right to produce art. Theft is theft, whether it be a simple draft of a character profile or a rough RP plot of no more than a paragraph in length. It discourages the manufacture of original content and creativity. Plagiary will not be tolerated.
5. Thou shalt not scorn the noobs. Remember that we were all noobs once. It was the kind acceptance and courtesy of others that allowed us to temper our skills as writers and role-players. Be patient and understanding of beginners.
6. Thou shalt respect the privacy of others. Do not disclose personal information about other users without their knowledge and consent. We ask that every user consider the dangers of publishing personal information on the internet. Please understand that there may be ramifications of which the Role Play Hub staff cannot always circumvent.
7. Thou shalt not be a Leonid Afremov. To promote a user-friendly and welcoming interface, we ask that posters not clutter the forums with extremely colorful and rich text. Keep in mind that not everyone has 20x20 vision or the capacity to read highly stylized narratives with a wide array of colors and capitalization. Keep your posts legible.
8. Thou shalt not substitute constructive criticism with disparagement and mockery. Unnecessarily harsh comments geared towards a user's creativity, skill, or capacity to improve their work is not allowed. Be kind and considerate of others and their work.
9. Thou shalt not take for granted the Role-Playing Guidelines. The role-playing guidelines are the product of common courtesy, common sense, and a general respect for role-players and their written work. Please do not deviate from the basic role-playing guidelines unless the OP has stated otherwise. (Role-Playing Guidelines: Click Here)
10. Thou shalt message Staff immediately if a thread or user(s) is in conflict with the Ten Commandments [of Role Play Hub]. Please help in keeping our site a safe and enjoyable place for all users. Role Play Hub and its community will greatly benefit from the participation of all its users in reporting inappropriate behavior and content.

11. Role Play Hub staffers reserve the right to monitor the forums using their own discretion. Behavior and content that is not otherwise specified in the Ten Commandments will be dealt with as moderators see fit. This includes the distribution of punishments and the moving/deleting of content. If you are not satisfied with how a certain matter was handled, please contact another member of the Role Play Hub Staff.
